Seeking help can be scary. We want to provide you with a comprehensive guide on what to expect when you visit our center. Our priority is your safety, well-being, and empowerment. If you have questions before you visit, feel free to call us at 209.468.2600 and ask for more information, or schedule an appointment.

Refreshments and Comfort:

We understand that your visit may be emotionally challenging. We offer a comforting environment where you can relax and find solace. Complimentary refreshments are available to provide comfort during your visit.

Intake Procedure:

When you arrive at the Family Justice Center, our caring and trained staff will greet you warmly. You will be guided through a confidential and supportive intake process, where you can share your concerns and needs. Your well-being is our utmost concern, and our team is here to listen and assist you.

Meet Nala, Our Facility Dog:

Our friendly facility dog who provides unconditional support and companionship. Nala is here to offer comfort and a sense of calm as you navigate your journey towards healing.

Partnership and Support:

During your visit, you may have the opportunity to meet with one or more of our partner organizations. These collaborations allow us to provide you with a wide range of services, including legal assistance, counseling, and more. Our partners are dedicated to supporting you through every step of your journey.

Success Boutique:

Don’t go back for stuff.

Explore our Success Boutique, where you can find clothing, toiletries, and essential items to help you feel empowered and confident as you move forward.

Child-Friendly Environment:

Children are welcome at the Family Justice Center. We prioritize creating a safe and supportive space for families. If you need child care during your visit, you can call ahead to arrange it. Child care is also available when you receive any onsite service, attend court proceedings, or are in crisis. Our team can facilitate an emergency child care request while we meet with you.
