Working together we make a difference. Camp HOPE 2017

2017 marked the 4th year the San Joaquin County Family Justice Center sent kids to Camp HOPE. The generosity of our donors make it possible for kids to attend camp free of charge.

Camp HOPE was designed specifically for children who have experienced trauma. The curriculum provides skills in coping, character building, and the power of hope and healing.

We want to send a big THANK YOU to Stockton Fire Chief Eric Newman and the staff of Fire Station #2 for their help in making our 2017 Camp HOPE Reunion Party a fun time for all! Our campers had a great time exploring the station, visiting with fire staff, and learning about what they do.

The success of our Camp HOPE program is due to the dedication of Peggy Mitchell, our Camp HOPE Coordinator. Her heart for our campers and the youth of our community is so appreciated!

Together, we are creating HOPE in San Joaquin County.
